Galway came top with seven qualifiers for the semi-finals; ahead of Cork and Wexford with four each.

Antrim and Meath secured two slots each; while Derry, Down, Kilkenny, Offaly and Roscommon are also represented.

Antrim duo Maeve Kelly and Caitrin Dobbin both finished joint 24th on 23.3%.  But Kelly advances to the semi-finals based on more votes in her quarter-final (653) ahead of Dobbin’s 514.

Among the shock elimination were Antrim’s Caitrin Dobbin, Tipperary duo Cáit Devane and Roisin Howard, and Kilkenny’s Denise Gaule.
