Footballers Aoife and Brian, hurler Eoghan and camogie player Ali will all be wearing the new kit next season when representing Dublin in 2022.
Dublin GAA in partnership with their main sponsor AIG Insurance officially unveiled their new O’Neills Alternate Kit for the 2022 season. The new jersey represents an eye-catching bold and vibrant look for Dublin GAA teams.
The new kit puts future Dublin GAA fans at the heart of its design, while it also represents a nod to the heritage of Dublin GAA’s striped kits of days gone by.
The new Dublin alternate jersey takes inspiration from some of the county’s most iconic striped jerseys from the 80’s and early noughties, much loved by Dublin GAA fans across the world.
The latest away kit aims to provide a fresh update to tradition, while delivering a new look for the younger generation of Dublin fans.
General Manager at AIG Insurance Aidan Connaughton said: “We are proud of our continued association with Dublin GAA, a relationship that stretches back over the last seven years.
“We look forward to seeing our brand on the front of this new Dublin GAA away jersey in the upcoming 2022 season, as all four codes strive for success.”
Tony Towell, Managing Director O’Neills Irish International Sports Company Ltd, added: “It is exciting to unveil the latest O’Neills Dublin alternate jersey.
“We greatly value our longstanding partnership with Dublin GAA and are proud to produce such high-quality, eye-catching jerseys which we know will be worn with pride by the players and supporters alike.”
The Dublin GAA jersey is available to purchase from today from official retail partner of Dublin GAA, Intersport Elverys. Purchase online at www.elverys.ie and in stores nationwide. The jersey is also available for purchase at www.oneills.com.
Notably O’Neills brought disruptive jersey graphics into the world of GAA at the end of the 1980s, which created a new outlook on how jerseys could be designed. It is this spirit of bringing a fresh approach and innovation that inspired the design of the 2021/22 away kit launched today.
Commercial and Marketing Manager at Dublin GAA Tomás Quinn commented: “We are delighted to release the latest Dublin alternative kit and look forward to seeing the teams across the four codes wearing it in the coming seasons.”
