The anticipation for this year’s TG4 All-Ireland Championships has been building for months with fans eagerly awaiting the day their favourite inter-county stars can take to the pitch again. The senior group stages got underway last weekend and there are some interesting and exciting games ahead with a lot of interest in who will make the knockout and final stages.
Commenting on the launch, Aidan Connaughton, General Manager at AIG Ireland, commented; “We’re delighted to have the LGFA in AIG HQ today to officially launch this year’s AIG summer campaign that focuses on our Effort is Equal message, which promotes gender balance and equality. AIG is deeply rooted in the communities where our customers and colleagues live and our involvement with this campaign reflects our continued commitment to those communities.
We’re proud of the close partnership we have built with the LGFA over the years and we hope that their members have benefited from our commitment to them.
“We are really looking forward to this year’s championship season and witnessing more of the high quality games and standards we have become accustomed to over the past number of years. I would like to wish all the teams and players the very best of luck this summer.”
