FOOTBALL: Armagh 0-13 Monaghan 0-6 (National League Division 2 Report and Reaction)

Armagh completed the group stages of the Lidl National Footbal League with maximum points and set up a semi-final meeting with Laois in two weeks.

Aimee Mackin top scored with four points while Blaithin Mackin, Fionnuala McKenna and Caroline O’Hanlon were also prominent.

Monaghan still survive thanks to results elsewhere and will meet Kerry at the penultimate hurdle in a repeat of their showdown last year that went to free kicks.
