Darren Kelly and Killian Whelan present the magazine show looking at the provincial club camogie championships.
Schedule:
- Latest News (including Davy Fitzgerald & Cork – 0:15)
- Aoife McGrath – Drom & Inch captain (Munster Champions – 25:05)
- Review – Drom & Inch 1-9 Inagh/Kilnamona 1-8 (Munster Final), Slaughtneil 0-9 Loughgiel Shamrocks 0-9 (Ulster Final) – (34:35)
- Preview – Oulart The Ballagh vs Thomastown (Leinster Senior Final – 48:50)
Darren and Killian look at the major talking points in camogie including Matthew Twomey’s appointment as Cork manager and his backroom team, the provisional draft of 2022 fixtures (the good, the bad and the unfairness on Division 2 league players), Pauline McCarthy’s exploits in Limerick at 62, Joe Quaid in Kildare, ABC goes GAA, and much more.
Drom & Inch captain Aoife McGrath joins us to talk about their double success in the last two weeks, winning 3-in-a-row in Tipperary, finally getting her hands on the Munster championship trophy, and what to expect from All-Ireland champions Sarsfields in their upcoming semi-final clash.
We look back at last weekend’s two provincial senior finals. Tipperary’s Drom & Inch edged past Clare’s Inagh/Kilnamona 1-9 to 1-8 in Munster; while Derry’s Slaughtneil and Antrim’s Loughgiel Shamrocks must do it all again following an early final whistle in Ulster and a 0-9 apiece draw.
Then Darren and Killian preview this Saturday’s eagerly anticipated Leinster senior final between Wexford’s Oulart The Ballagh and Kilkenny’s Thomastown. Can Oulart maintain their recent good run or are Thomastown waiting in the long grass to regain honours out east?
