  • 56:25 – Preview – Armagh vs Meath (TG4 All-Ireland Senior Championship)

We start the show by chatting to Louth captain Shannen McLoughlin following their one-point win over Clare last week that saw them finish as Group B winners in the TG4 All-Ireland intermediate championship.

Among the news items discussed are no cash allowed on big match days, Hugh Donnelly steps down as Leitrim manager, Na Gaeil Aeracha – Dublin’s LGBTQ+ club are special guests at Dublin’s Pride Parade, and we chat about Period Poverty, ahead of the re-release of last year’s interview with Antrim chairperson Shauna Adams on Monday.

Our first featured game is Sunday’s meeting of Cork and  Donegal (2pm Clane) in the TG4 All-Ireland senior championship.  It’s their first meeting since the 2021 league semi-final and both will want to lay down a marker and finish as Group D winners.

Then it’s the rematch we’ve all been waiting for – Armagh vs Meath (Sunday, 3.45pm Glennon Brothers Pearse Park).  The Royal County’s win in last year’s quarter-final sent shockwaves around the country as they went on their stunning journey to All-Ireland success.  What to the Orchard county have in store for revenge?
