Darren Kelly and Niamh Kindlon present the magazine show looking at the TG4 All-Ireland Championships.
Schedule:
- 0:00 – Review – Cork 2-12 Donegal 1-10
- 34:55 – Karen Guthrie (Donegal)
- 38:10 – Preview – Cork vs Waterford
- 57:10 – Doireann O’Sullivan (Cork)
- 1:00:00 – Senior & Intermediate Round-Up inc. Armagh vs Monaghan
We review a third game from Round 2 of the TG4 All-Ireland senior football championship last weekend. Cork beat Donegal by five points but could all three goals have been avoided; did Donegal get their match-ups right at the start; how influential were refereeing decisions in the second period; and how did Cork let their opponents back into this?
We get post-match reaction from Karen Guthrie and Doireann O’Sullivan, and preview this week’s clash of Cork and Waterford in the final round in Group D. Waterford must win, Donegal can’t afford that scenario, while victory for Cork will secure top spot. They’ve met multiple times recently with the Rebelettes coming out on top but do the Deise have a chance to turn their fortunes around?
As well as running through the other games in the senior championship plus the TG4 intermediate quarter-finals, we take a look at Armagh against Monaghan. The Orchard have enjoyed the upper hand with significant wins and a 15+ point winning margin will see them top Group B. But have the Farney women just lost too many players to make the victory that will secure a quarter-final spot possible?
