PODCAST: The Curtain Raiser – Friday, 27th November 2020
Special Guest: Paudie Murray (Cork camogie manager)
Darren Kelly and Rena Buckley look ahead to this weekend’s semi-finals in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie and Ladies Football Championships.
It’s Super Saturday with three big matches taking place in Cork and Cavan.
Cork clash with Kilkenny in the first Liberty Insurance camogie semi-final at Páirc Uí Chaoimh – their first championship meeting in two years;
That’s followed by the game between All-Ireland champions Galway and Tipperary – when they last met at this stage in 2000, the Premier County were the top team on their way to a second crown;
And in Kingspan Breffni Park that evening, All-Ireland ladies football title holders Dublin aim to keep their four-in-a-row ambitions intact against an Armagh side appearing at this stage for the first time since 2015.
