‘The Curtain Raiser’ previewing the weekend’s action in camogie and ladies football as well as looking at the main talking points during the week.

18-time All-Ireland winner Rena Buckley is our new co-presenter with Darren Kelly and she’ll be with us every week to look ahead to the action.

Our guest this week is Kildare senior ladies football manager Daniel Moynihan (31:35) ahead of their upcoming intermediate championship opener against Clare.

Darren and Rena will talk about the WGPA report ‘Levelling the Field’ and the LGFA’s gesture to cover match day expenses for all players.

They also look ahead to the weekend’s camogie action featuring Cork vs Wexford.

While in ladies football, the key games are Tipperary vs Galway, Dublin vs Donegal, & Armagh vs Tyrone.
