This week’s special guest on THE FAIR GREEN is Monaghan star attacker CORA COURTNEY.
The Donaghmoyne player talks overcoming Bredagh and the upcoming All-Ireland semi-final, starting out with both club and county, what motivates Donaghmoyne and how the injection of youth are encouraged to work hard, losing to Ballyboden in 2005, and how they should have more than their five All-Irelands.
Cora talks about Monaghan and the disappointment of 2021, injury which captain in 2019, their rivalry with Cork and how close they came to All-Ireland success, the sweetness of two club wins against Donaghmore and Mourneabbey, and her decision to step away in 2022.
And she also names her ‘Fantastic Four.’
