PODCAST: The Third Half (Camogie) – Wexford 7-19 Laois 1-9
Wexford’s senior camogie side made a major statement of intent in Division 2 of the National League on Saturday (29th May) as they pulled clear of Laois to run out comfortable 28-point winners.
Aoife Guiney’s second minute goal set the tone before the returning Katrina Parrock slotted home a penaltyon 20 minutes and the visitors led 2-11 to 1-4 at half-time.
Gráinne Hyland’s industry earned Laois their green flag but the game was wrapped up on 42 minutes as Kate Kirwan and Joanne Dillon set up Parrock for her second goal.
Kirwan, Guiney and substitute Emma Dempsey with two completed Wexford’s goal rout.
