PODCAST: The Third Half (Football) – Monaghan 5-15 Tyrone 1-11

Monaghan left nothing to chance in St. Tiernach’s Park, Clones on Sunday (6th June) as they booked their place in the semi-finals of the LIDL Ireland National Football League Division 2.

Player of the match Casey Treanor struck two gaols while Shauna Coyle, Ellen McCarron and Laura McEnaney also raised green flags to ensure a comfortable afternoon for the hosts on the scoreboard.

The result sets Monaghan up fo a semi-final with Kerry next weekend; while Tyrone take on Wexford in the relegation play-off.

Afterwards, SportsDaz’s Darren Kelly caught up with Monaghan captain Ellen McCarron and Tyrone boss Kevin McCrystal.
